Role: Maths Teacher
Contract: Full-time, temporary
Salary: £168-232
Dates: September 2026
Location: Medway, Kent
We are seeking a dedicated and confident Maths Teacher to join this secondary school on a full-time basis from September 2026 on an ongoing long term basis.
The school is looking for a reliable specialist who can provide continuity and high-quality teaching during this period.
Maths Teacher responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3–KS4
- Plan, mark and assess in line with departmental expectations
- Support student progress and attainment through structured teaching
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic focus
- Contribute to the wider Maths department and school community
Maths Teacher requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting
- Ability to commit to full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
- Strong classroom management
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
