Safeguarding and Complaince

Three R’s Safeguarding and Compliance Practise

As members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation Education division, we meet legal obligations and follow a professional code of practice. In addition, we have gone further to demonstrate compliance by undertaking the REC Audited Education accreditation. This initiative builds on the previous Quality Mark scheme that the REC managed on behalf of the Department for Education. It provides schools with a recognised kite mark when selecting which agency to use. We have passed this compliance test with 100% pass results since 2003. We feel this test provides an important filter when selecting an agency to work with.

Our prime importance is child protection and safeguarding. We, therefore, carry out robust vetting checks on all candidates and follow best practice guidance to safeguarding.

The checks we complete are:

  • Proof of ID
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 x proof of address
  • Up-To-Date CV
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check
  • Change of name
  • National Insurance Number
  • 2 Education related references
  • Qualification Certificates – teachers
  • Up to date training on Safeguarding including Prevent and FGM
  • Proof of pay scale for Agency Workers Regulations (AWR)
