“I split my time between two counties and use two different agencies depending on where I’m staying. Each time I have to deal with the Hampshire branch of the national agency I use I wish I was back in Thanet with 3Rs. Never have 3Rs repeatedly called on days I’ve said I’m unavailable. Or let another consultant try to book me after I’ve rung in sick during a booking. They don’t twist my arm to return to schools I don’t enjoy. They don’t pressurise me to continue placements where school support is lacking. And best of all they don’t email and phone offering jobs I’m not suitable for – if I wanted to teach Spanish to primary school kids I would have mentioned that!

Nicki and her team actually listen to my preferences and have always provided me with as much (or little) work as I want, at schools I enjoy teaching at. I much prefer a friendly text or quick call checking my availability to the online diary that a certain agency’s consultants don’t even seem to check.
