Role: English Teacher
Contract: Full-time, temporary
Salary: £135-175 per day (dependent on experience)
Dates: September 2026
Location: Maidstone

We are seeking a dedicated and confident English Teacher to join this department on a full-time basis, starting September 2026.

English Teacher responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across KS3–KS4
• Plan, mark and assess in line with departmental expectations
• Stretch and challenge high-attaining students
• Contribute to departmental planning and exam preparation
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement

English Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
• Recent experience teaching English in a secondary setting
• Ability to commit to full planning and marking responsibilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
