Location: Rural location – ideal for Thanet, Canterbury & Sandwich areas

A welcoming Independent pre-school is seeking temporary supply Nursery Teaching Assistants to provide flexible cover support. This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Years practitioners and Teaching Assistants looking for adaptable work that fits around other commitments while remaining hands-on in a nurturing nursery environment.

Shifts vary and can include short midday cover, half days or full days, making this role particularly appealing for those seeking flexibility.

Nursery Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

• Support children aged within the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Assist with play-based learning and daily routines
• Help maintain a safe, caring and engaging environment
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to support children’s development
• Adapt confidently to different shift patterns and daily needs

Nursery Teaching Assistant requirements:

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• A full UK driving licence (essential due to rural location)
• A warm, patient and proactive approach with young children
• Understanding of EYFS principles (formal qualification advantageous)
• Ability to travel to rural location (easily reachable from Thanet, Canterbury or Sandwich areas)
