Role: KS2 Teacher
Contract: Part-time (3 days per week)
Salary: £115-160 per day
Dates: ASAP start – Term 4 initially (likely extension)
Location: Rural Kent (between Maidstone and Ashford)

A welcoming Primary school set deep in the Kent countryside between Maidstone and Ashford is seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team on a 3-day per week basis, starting as soon as possible for Term 4 with the potential to extend.

This role would be particularly well suited to teachers based in nearby villages such as Headcorn, Smarden, Bethersden or Tenterden, or those happy to travel from the Maidstone or Ashford areas.

The school prides itself on providing a stimulating and challenging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential both academically and personally. You’ll be joining a supportive rural school community where staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

KS2 Teacher responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
• Mark and assess work to support pupil progress
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Encourage pupils to develop independence and confidence in their learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community

KS2 Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
• Experience teaching within KS2 classrooms
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support learners
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Reliable transport or ability to travel to a rural school location
