Three R’s Latest News

The Three R’s team were proud to once again sponsor and attend the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards, held at the beautiful Ashford International Hotel on Friday 9 May 2025. As long-standing supporters of education across Kent, we are always delighted to be part of this celebration of Kent’s most dedicated and inspiring educators and support staff.

Natalie and Tiffany represented Three R’s on the night, soaking up the atmosphere of appreciation and pride that filled the venue. For us, KTOTY isn’t just an awards night—it is a genuine tribute to the heartfelt passion, dedication, and resilience of Kent’s education community.

The evening spotlighted exceptional stories from schools across Kent, showcasing educators who go above and beyond. It was great to also see many of our school contacts receive recognition on the night—a true testament to the outstanding talent we work with every day across Kent. We’re also thankful that we get to take to the stage to recognise the hard work and contributions of Kent’s educators, with Natalie and Tiffany presenting awards (pictured below), including:

  • Kate Wratten – ECT of the Year at Goodwin Academy
  • Marie Chambers – TA of the Year at Dover Boys Grammar School
  • Sara Richardson – Music Teacher of the Year at Goodwin Academy

A Bit of Fun and a Bit of Giving Back

The night also included a light-hearted ‘Heads and Tails’ game—where our very own Natalie won the top prize of £500! True to our values,

we’re thrilled to announce that the prize will be shared between two deserving schools that attended the awards:

  • Palm Bay Primary School
  • Walderslade & Greenacre Schools Partnership

We hope this small gesture continues to support the amazing work they’re doing every day in the classroom and beyond.

Looking Ahead: The Kent Education Awards

As the night came to a close, it was announced that the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards will be rebranding next year as The Kent Education Awards, opening for nominations from 1st June 2025. We’ll be keeping a close eye on developments and will continue to proudly support this initiative that shines a light on excellence in our schools.
