Bringing beloved book characters to life, World Book Day sees many schools, students, teachers and educators dress up as literary characters. Three R’s invited those dressed up to send their photos in to be in with a chance to win a Roald Dahl bookset.
We were overwhelmed with the response – by far the biggest participation we’ve had in years – and whilst we can’t share every entry here are some highlights! On top of costume entries, we were sent many thoughtful photos of students reading to younger years, reading to pets and also ‘story in a jar’ activities. It has been so special this year to see how many creative ways schools have got involved with World Book Day.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our competition and in celebrating World Book Day. And of course, congratulations to our winners, Halling Primary School, who sent through a collection of photos of staff dressed up. The commitment to the characters was fantastic!
